This policy outlines the general framework for the retention, erasure, destruction and anonymisation of personal data.
Core Principles
- ·Data is retained for the period necessary for the purpose for which it was processed
- ·When processing conditions cease to apply, erasure, destruction or anonymisation processes are initiated
- ·Destruction activities are recorded
- ·Appropriate data categories and retention periods are defined in internal policy tables

Periodic Destruction
Data controllers who are required to prepare a policy determine periodic destruction intervals; these intervals may not exceed six months under the relevant regulation.
Destruction Upon Request
When a data subject makes a request, the controller assesses whether the relevant conditions are met and notifies the data subject of the outcome within thirty days at the latest.
